Assist Chinese Examination Regulations

A. Application Qualification: (obtain one of the below)
 
  1. Obtained Oriental Medicine Bachelor Degree or certificate with proves of transcript.
  2. Obtained Oriental Medicine Master Degree or certificate with proves of transcript.
  3. Obtained Oriental Medicine Doctor Degree or certificate with proves of transcript.
B. Dates and Venue:
 
  1. Regular Class: To be held in Los Angeles Campus three sessions a year, each session consisted of four classes held on Saturdays eight hours a day. Class includes notes, needle cleaning, sterilization, and examination techniques.
  2. Intense Class: To be held in Taiwan and/or China with irregular class times. A class must have at least 30 students, and duration of class is 12 days eight hours a day. Class includes notes, needle cleaning, sterilization, and examination techniques.
C. Application Details: (VISA Fee, transportation, or accommodation fees not included)
  1. Clean Needle Technique Examination:
According to the regulations set upon California Acupuncture Board, and National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
  2. Degree accreditation examination:
    a. California Acupuncture Board approved International Education Research Foundation (IERF) for degree accreditation. American Purlinton University provides free assistantship for application.
    b. NCCAOM approved American Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (AACRAO) for degree accreditation. American Purlinton University provides free assistantship for application.
  3. Practical examination:
American Purlinton University provides 12 week assistantship in application and document submission
  4. Assistantship:
Students who enrolled in American Purlinton University since January 1 st 2006 will receive assistantship until obtained certification.
D. Examination Date:
  1. California Acupuncture Board held examination twice a year during January to March, and July to September.
  2. NCCAOM held examination in February, June, and October.
E. Application Documents:
 
  1. Three copies of Oriental Medicine graduating certificate and transcript.
  2. The above document translated into English and notarized.
  3. Two copies of passport.
  4. One completed application form.
  5. Four 2”X2” photo.
  6. A copy of Fee receipt.
